From l to r - Kaushik - CUPA volunteer, Sudha Narayanan-Trustee, Steve McCurry and Lingaraj - Manager.

CUPA Shelter had a distinguished visitor recently. World renowned photographer and journalist, Steve McCurry, visited the shelter and spent many hours interacting with the staff and resident animals. Steve is better known for his cover picture on Time Magazine, of the haunting face of an Afghan woman during the Afghanistan war in the 1990s. Taken up by the animals and the general ambience of the place, Steve spent an extra day shooting at CUPA.

CUPA's Advisory Board member Mr. Bharat Tandon, Managing Director of Petcare India Limited, generously donated a computer for the CUPA Animal Care Clinic at R.T. Nagar in Bangalore. This move has greatly benefited the clinic activities, since all animal records and patient details can be handled more efficiently and with greater speed. Our receptionist Mr. Prasad, after a couple of hours of technical training, has proved himself adept at handling thousands of medical records and patient details.
